Finished Lebarae Portraits-0017.jpg

LebaRae Hutchins was born and raised in Dayton, OH, and was raised by her mother, Regina, who was a single mother. She is a servant of Jesus Christ and has a love for writing and music.

LebaRae began writing poetry while in high school, but didn't realize she was blessed with a God-given talent to write poetry. She began writing poems about different tribulations she had experienced, as well as trials she had been facing at that time. By the time LebaRae was a senior in high school she had stopped writing altogether. She had no desire to continue to write by reason of the trauma the hardships she encountered had caused. LebaRae went on to attend Kentucky State University and began writing again while a sophomore there. While at home over Christmas break, LebaRae had no idea her life would drastically change overnight, and she would not be returning to college. LebaRae became extremely ill. While battling with the illness, LebaRae also struggled with depression. She had seen over ten doctors, including having to travel to Cleveland Clinic with no answers has to why she was sick. LebaRae thought she couldn't handle the sickness and depression, so she decided to commit suicide, BUT because of God, she did not commit suicide! LebaRae knew there was a purpose for the sickness, and better days were ahead. Slowly, but surely LebaRae began to see improvement in her health and is better than she has ever been because of that sickness and being broken. LebaRae has established a closer relationship with God, and is now living for Him daily.

LebaRae's deepest passion is to share the Gospel as well as her story through poetry. LebaRae is an introvert, and has always been an introvert, but when she realized her testimony could help others, she knew she had to step out of her shyness and comfort zone to conquer that. So, here she is today sharing the Gospel and her story with the world!

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."" ~Romans 1:16-17~
